Brenda Duncan Obituary

Brenda Katherine Shoemaker Duncan, was born on July 7, 1964 in Charlottesville Virginia. She departed her life on May 27, 2020 in Prince Georges County , Maryland.

Brenda lived in Buckingham , VA until the age of 6 years old and her family later moved to Washington , DC. Brenda attended DC public school graduated from HD Woodson in Washington, DC; after Brenda graduated from high school she perused a  degree in nursing for over 20 years. She worked at numerous nursing home such as Grant Park nursing home, Serenity Rehabilitation . Brenda loved her career and always had a smile on her face.

Brenda was a fighter and gave it her all. Her “gifts of helps” and caring was exhibited through the many of persons that she blessed during her life time.

Brenda life was dedicated to her family to enriching and nurturing the lives of her husband , children and grandchildren. She loved her family gathering , and long day trips with her husband. Her leisure time she enjoyed shopping , spoiling and watching her grandchildren. She loved going to work with her husband at the dealership. Eddie took care of Brenda and stayed by her side.

She leaves to cherish in her memory her beloved husband Eddie Lee Duncan her son Tracy Bonnette, her two daughters Taneka Shoemaker and

Delicia Davis (Ricardo). Her brothers Patrick Patterson (Rebecca ), Fred Morgan; her sister Sabrina Morgan. 11 grandchildren she loved dearly Tyshawn Shoemaker, Tyrell Shoemaker, Taniyah Shoemaker, Jaeleah Shoemaker, Joel Shoemaker, Rimier Davis Reign Davis, Nevaeh Bonnette, Heaven Bonnette, Raniayia Davis  and Ryleigh Davis.
